The Online Retail Awards celebrates those websites that offer the very best online shopping experience and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.

2013 saw a record number of entrants and according the the organisation's website, “the quality of this year's entries was better than ever”. Short-listed companies included Virgin Atlantic, Vodafone, Debenhams, Harveys Furniture, Halfords, Barclays Pingit and many other outstanding large and small online retailers.
Award Ceremony
The Award Ceremony was held at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London on Thursday September 5th.
The ceremony was hosted by Steph McGovern, who is the main business presenter for BBC Breakfast. For over 10 years Steph has reported many of the big financial events across the world, and was at the forefront of the BBC's award-winning coverage of the credit crunch and recession.
As well as 'Workplace and Business supplies' there were 11 other retail categories, 7 'special achievement' awards and the Prix D'Dor award won by Virgin Atlantic.
